Congratulations Jacqui

Since graduating as a primary school teacher in December 2011 our daughter Jacqueline has been working hard in contract positions in schools including volunteer work to gain experience and develop her profession.

Teachers wishing to seek employment as a teacher in a Queensland state school must undertake the department's application for teacher employment process.

The application process aims to identify an applicant's suitability for employment as a teacher in a Queensland state school. The teacher employment process draws upon the Professional Standards for Queensland Teachers established by the Queensland College of Teachers . The standards describe the abilities, knowledge, understandings and professional values that teachers in Queensland schools must demonstrate.

Jacqueline has just attained the very highest of the 5 possible ranking from the process, that is:
Outstanding - Excels in all areas
This means she consistently and independently demonstrates a thorough understanding and has demonstrated application of all of the Professional Standards for Queensland Teachers and is able to systematically link her understanding to her own practice at a level commensurate with her experience.
Jacqui has been assessed by her peers as being an effective teacher in any Queensland school context and would be a very valuable addition to any school staff and community. So officially eligible for permanent, temporary or casual employment.
Why not congratulate her *HERE* ? We are so proud.
